How many serves in a pouch?Well that depends on how hungry you are. 😀 When you add your liquid you’ll end up with about 600ml of nutrient rich super goodness, so that will serve two people as a great light meal or snack, or one person as a meal.

What do I do with it?When you’re ready to smoothie it up, pull one of your pouches out of the freezer to let it soften a little - without fully defrosting. Get out your blender, liquid of choice and protein powder if you’re adding it. Once the smoothie pouch has softened a little, whilst still in the pouch just break the goodness into small chunks – about 2-3cms – and tip into your blender. Add about 300-350ml liquid – we recommend coconut water, or almond milk, but you can use water, or any milk you like [just keep in mind that whatever liquid you add might change the taste and consistency a little]. Add any protein powder if you want it – we like to use a vanilla pea protein, but it’s up to you! Blend for about 30 – 60 seconds. If it’s too thick, you can add more liquid and blend. You’re good to go! Enjoy your smoothie knowing you’re fueling your body with the good stuff – no waste, no hassle.

Can I add anything else to it?Sure you can! Although we think our smoothies taste pretty great as is, so other than liquid, you don't need to add anything else - you can add anything you want to make it suit you. Shandra sometimes adds half a kiwi fruit with the skin on to the Liverlicious to give it an extra zing (and extra fibre), you could add fresh lemon juice, or extra mint for a burst of freshness. It's your smoothie so make it taste as super as you like!

What if I don’t use a whole pouch?No probs! Once you have put the amount you want to use in the blender, just leave whatever is left in the pouch and put it back in the freezer until you want to use it. Remember to reduce the amount of liquid you use - half the pouch = half the liquid.

Why do I have to keep it frozen?All the ingredients are REAL! There are no nasties or preservatives, so keeping it frozen means it will last longer for you. Also, blending from frozen gives a much nicer and thicker consistency – so it’s a double win!

What happens if it defrosts?Technically it’s pretty much just fruit, veg, nuts, seeds, so it would still be ok to use within a few days, BUT the consistency will be very different because you’re not blending from frozen… so we recommend keeping it frozen. Also, as long as it’s still coldish you could choose to refreeze it, but it might affect the consistency a bit.

How much sugar is in your smoothies?Each smoothie is packed with delicious nutrient dense, healthy ingredients – we don’t add any sugar, chemicals or preservatives, so the only sugar is natural sugar from the fruit! Each product shows the nutritional panel so you can see the ingredients and nutritional breakdown.

What about if I’m allergic, or can’t eat something?"Shandra needs gluten free so we get it! All the ingredients and potential allergens are listed on every smoothie so you can choose the ones you can have – although keep in mind that the smoothies are produced in a facility that is not completely allergen free, so we don’t recommend ordering our product if you have a severe allergy.

My blender is getting stuck!Yes, this happens to us sometime too… Every blender is a bit different. Sometimes you may need to add a little more liquid, or the pieces are too big for your blender. Just add some more liquid ,or leave it a few minutes to defrost a little more then try again.

Delivery or Collection?At the moment we deliver in a radius of 15km of Sydney CBD on Wednesdays and Saturdays for a flat rate fee of $15, or you can pre order and collect from our sister café O Superfood at 330 Oxford Street Bondi Junction.

Do I have to be home to accept delivery?As your super smoothies are to be kept frozen, ideally you or someone will be home to accept delivery. We'll contact you and do our best to coordinate a time that works, otherwise let us know a safe place to leave them where you can get them into the freezer quick smart.
